针对2017高考江西师大附中考点英语听力事件，南昌市教育局6月10日清晨发布调查初步结果，“从视频回放来看，考场秩序正常。经检查，学校播音设备功能正常，无故障。”

6月8日下午进行的英语科目考试结束后，有考生及家长向教育考试部门反应：江西师大附中考点发生听力环节播放故障。

6月9日，有考生在接受中新网记者采访时表示，“考试的时候从第一段开始没有一段内容是可以完完整整听清楚的，只是说相对有某些片段的音节稍微能听清一点，有些片段是完全含糊掉。”

6月9日凌晨，就考生及家长反映的江西师大附中高考考点英语听力听不清一事，南昌市教育局表示已成立事件调查组。

6月10日清晨，南昌市教育局对外发布情况通报称，“针对2017年普通高考江西师大附中考点英语听力考试有关情况的反映，南昌市政府高度重视，组成调查组对该考点55个考场英语听力考试时间段的监控视频进行了回放。”

通报称，“视频显示：其中54个考场英语听力考试期间无学生举手示意，考场秩序井然。”

其中，“文史04考场有一考生向监考老师举手示意，在监考老师的注视下，于6月8日15时19分16秒走到教室门口，于15时19分40秒返回座位。经与监考老师及考生本人核实，该考生到教室门口是拿取铅笔。从视频回放来看，考场秩序正常。”

通报表示，“有关专家仔细检查了该考点的听力播放设备，重点检查了设备的安装和连接部位。经检查，校方采用的设备是SPON品牌产品，学校播音设备功能正常，无故障。”

南昌市教育局通报称，“其它情况还在进一步调查当中，将及时发布。”
